Emirates announces new service to Australia

Dubai-based Emirates airline has unveiled plans to enhance its operations in Australia, including the upgrade of its second daily flight, EK430/431, connecting Dubai and Brisbane, to an A380 starting October 1.

Additionally, a new daily service between Dubai and Perth, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, is set to launch on December 1. The upgraded A380 flight to Brisbane is expected to accommodate up to 100,000 extra passengers annually, marking a significant boost to Queensland-Europe travel. With these strategic expansions, Emirates aims to increase its weekly capacity to Australia by an additional 6,900 seats, offering enhanced connectivity and reinforcing its position as a key player in the region.

The airline currently operates 63 weekly flights to major Australian cities, utilizing a combination of A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, with recent plans to double its Premium Economy offerings on Melbourne flights effective February 1.
