UAE airline Etihad Airways will introduce its A380 double-decker service to Singapore starting 1 February 2025. This will make Singapore the fourth major city to be served by the A380, joining London, New York, and Paris, which will see the aircraft from 1 November 2024.
Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves expressed excitement about the new route, highlighting the exceptional experience and connectivity the A380 offers. The daily flight from Abu Dhabi will depart at 10:05 PM, arriving in Singapore at 9:35 AM local time. The return flight will leave Singapore at 7:25 PM, landing back in Abu Dhabi at 11:20 PM.
In addition, Etihad will increase its flights to Thailand to 41 per week starting 27 October 2024. This includes three daily flights to Bangkok and 20 weekly flights to Phuket, enhancing flexibility and convenience for travelers.
