Last Updated : April 24, 2026- 10:00AM
Travel through Doha continues to face disruptions due to ongoing regional tensions and airspace restrictions. Here’s the latest update for passengers flying via Hamad International Airport (DOH):
Qatar Airways Update
Qatar Airways has resumed key Middle East routes, restarting daily flights to Dubai and Sharjah from April 23. Services to Damascus are also set to resume from May 1.
The airline is gradually rebuilding operations after the recent US-Iran conflict disrupted thousands of flights across the region. At one point, Qatar Airways reportedly stored around 17 aircraft in Spain due to the impact.
The carrier now aims to restore its network to 150 destinations by June 16.
Important Travel Advice
- Travel only if your flight is confirmed and operational.
- Check airline updates regularly.
- Expect delays, rerouting, or last-minute cancellations.
- Allow extra transit time if connecting via Doha.
