The Abu Dhabi International Airport has undergone a significant change, now officially known as Zayed International Airport. This renaming, directed by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, accompanies the recent inauguration of Terminal A, one of the world’s largest airport terminals. With a capacity to handle 45 million passengers annually and accommodate 79 aircraft at once, Terminal A strengthens Abu Dhabi’s aviation sector.
To mark this historic occasion, airlines have rolled out limited-time offers. Etihad Airways is offering special fares for select destinations departing from Abu Dhabi between February 19 and June 15, 2024. Meanwhile, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is celebrating with a flash sale, offering tickets from Dh59 for travel until June 30, 2024, on various routes.
These offers come with the backdrop of festivities at the airport, including gifts, activities, and live entertainment, promising an enjoyable travel experience for passengers.
