Singapore Changi Airport Ranked World’s 2nd Cleanest in 2025

Singapore’s Changi Airport has been named the second cleanest airport in the world by leading aviation consultancy Skytrax in its 2025 global rankings.

Famed for its lush indoor gardens and the world’s largest indoor waterfall, Changi Airport is widely recognized for its top-tier service and futuristic design. Now, it adds another feather to its cap with this prestigious cleanliness ranking.

The Skytrax survey evaluated passenger experiences based on key cleanliness factors such as:

  • Terminal hygiene
  • Waiting time and queue management
  • Efficiency of e-gates
  • Courtesy and effectiveness of immigration staff

Changi’s commitment to hygiene includes regular deep cleaning, disinfection protocols, and autonomous cleaning robots that maintain spotless terminals throughout the day. The airport also incorporates sustainable practices such as cleaner energy usage, water conservation, and waste reduction, contributing to its clean and eco-friendly reputation.

In another major win, Changi has also regained its title as the World’s Best Airport for 2025, reclaiming the top spot from Hamad International Airport in Qatar.
