Qatar Airways (QR) has once again soared to the top, earning the title of World’s Best Airline at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards. The announcement was made on June 17 during a prestigious ceremony at Le Bourget Airport (LBG), held as part of the Paris Air Show.
Often referred to as the “Oscars of aviation,” the Skytrax World Airline Awards were established in 1999 and are recognized globally for their independent and impartial assessments of airline excellence. This year’s event brought together more than 500 guests from airlines worldwide to celebrate achievements across various categories.
This marks Qatar Airways’ ninth time claiming the coveted top spot, underscoring its continued leadership in service, quality, and innovation.
In the global rankings, Singapore Airlines (SQ), based at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), secured the second position, while Cathay Pacific (CX), operating from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), took third place.
