Qatar Airways celebrates two major milestones: the launch of three weekly non-stop flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and surpassing its Starlink roll-out target for 2024.
The inaugural flight to Toronto – the airline’s second Canadian destination alongside Montreal – marks Qatar Airways’ 14th gateway to the Americas. The new route enhances connectivity for Canadian travelers to over 170 destinations across the airline’s global network.
Additionally, Qatar Airways now offers 15 Starlink-enabled Boeing 777 aircraft, exceeding its initial target of 12. This milestone solidifies its position as the world’s largest airline to offer complimentary Starlink connectivity, enabling passengers to stream, work, and stay connected at 35,000 feet.
