Singapore Changi Airport is enticing passengers originating from India with e-vouchers worth up to SGD 20 to spend at the airport. This initiative aims to boost travel through Changi amidst the ongoing rebound in demand.
Passengers flying to or transiting via Changi from India can now receive e-vouchers based on their flight itinerary. Those with India as their point of origin and flying direct to Singapore are eligible for SGD 10 e-vouchers per one-way transit, while roundtrip travelers from Singapore to India receive a single SGD 10 voucher.
The offer is applicable to outbound flights from 17 cities in India and is valid for travel between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. To qualify, passengers must have a return trip booked to India if traveling to Singapore and must maintain India as their origin point for transit trips via Changi.
For passengers transiting via Changi, at least one flight in their itinerary must have a layover of no more than 24 hours. Family members or companions must collect vouchers for travelers aged 2 to 16, as unaccompanied minors under 16 are not eligible.
This promotion aligns with Changi’s efforts to rebound from the pandemic, with passenger traffic approaching pre-pandemic levels, particularly for routes to Europe, South Asia, and the Southwest Pacific. The hope is that initiatives like this will further stimulate traffic and contribute to Changi’s ongoing recovery.
