Beginning November 1, Air India Express (IX) and IndiGo (6E) flights are scheduled to make a phased transition to Terminal A at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH). This relocation will unfold in three phases during the month of November.
On the opening day, 15 international airlines, including Air India Express, IndiGo, and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi (5W), will initiate their operations from the new terminal.
Terminal A has an impressive capacity, catering to 45 million passengers annually and handling 11,000 passengers per hour and 79 flights simultaneously. The terminal is equipped with advanced biometric systems, self-service kiosks, and efficient security checkpoints, ensuring a seamless travel experience. It will also offer opulent lounges, relaxation zones, spa facilities, and a wide array of retail and dining options, enhancing the overall travel experience and strengthening Abu Dhabi’s status as a global transportation hub.
